Danger! Warning! Improv! can bring our unique blend of inventive and interactive improv comedy to your next private party or corporate event.
While most comedians and shows separate the audience from the performer, we’ll put you in the middle of it, in a low-pressure way that will delight your guests and give them a night they won’t forget.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- We can mill around your event, in character, before the show actually begins, having little interactions with your guests, getting them laughing and intrigued by what’s to come.
- During the performance, we’ll continue to interact with your guests, whether it’s bringing people into the show to play evil Star Trek aliens or beautiful James Bond girls, or involving them all in the creation and solving of a mystery with master detective Sherlock Holmes. We welcome you to let us know who you’d like to involve before the show begins.
- Our standard performance can be made to last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and can be tailored made to the theme of your particular event.
- We bring everything needed to create a fun and epic night of action-packed entertainment — including our laptop computer/speakers (for music and sound fx), special props and costumes, and some fun “surprise” special effects.
- Although we’re just two guys, we’ll play all the characters, maybe even as some of your favorite celebrities and public figures.
SHOW PACKAGES:
SHERLOCK HOLMES MURDER MYSTERY
- A murder has been committed, and it’s up to Holmes to solve it — we’ll send our intrepid sleuth out of the room while Dr. Watson involves the audience in creating the complex details of the crime to be solved.
- The game is then afoot, as Holmes returns to gather clues and make bold guesses, all guided by hints from the various characters he encounters and feedback from the audience. With some period hats and scarves at the ready, we’ll make a handful of your guests suspects in the crime — one of them may in fact be the killer!
STAR TREKKED ADVENTURE
- Kicks off with some audience-interaction games in the style of Star Trek (including letting someone captain a starship through a no-win scenario!).
- We’ll then create a new episode of the classic show, complete with costumes, phaser effects, and a wealth of international and interstellar characters. With some extra red shirts on hand, as well as silly wigs and sashes, we’ll commission some of your (brave) guests to go with us on the journey.
JAMES BOND ACTION MOVIE
- Pre-show, we’ll select a handful of classy ladies to assist us in being Bond girls at key points during the show. We’ll also enlist your guests in coming up with the name of never-before-seen James Bond movie.
- During the performance, we’ll take the action to many exotic locales, populated by suspicious characters that your guests may help us bring to life. Expect car chases, mountain-top fights, ridiculous bad guys and explosive set-pieces as we use the entire room as our cinematic landscape.
SHAKESPEAREAN WHIMSY
- Kicks off with some audience-interaction games in the themes and language of William Shakespeare.
- With audience suggestions of title, characters and locations that might be seen in a Shakespearean play, we’ll take your party back in time, adopting the language of the bard’s works in telling a most delirious tale.
- With period costume accents, will enlists your guests to help bring this world alive through small character moments and large group interactions, even helping us create made-up Shakespearean sonnets and rhymed couplets. Expect a bawdy good time.
